Who Was De Last Man Standing
Posted by nutsee on January 23, 2009
Even as the debate continues as to who won the clash between Movado and Kartel, a new question has to be decided who was the last man standing following the recent outing to Xtreme. While it must be noted that yours truly left the club first on the night it was only to tend to my very drunk and her equally drunk cousin both of whom had persons coming to pick them up but were panicking as to how they were going to get home. Well done guys they were dancing in the corner right next to you and I can only assume it was your positive influence that left them in such a state. Anyhow, onto the last man standing award. I have to start with Ricardo Cyrus aka Brugga (hope I spell that right). I start with Brugga cause he got the night started when I look back and see my boy jamming pun an outstanding bumper. Was Brugga the last man standing? Or maybe it was Adrian slow and steady the whole night but was able to drop home all de men and still had work the following morning. I know it definitely deserves special mention but is it enough for the last man standing award. It could have been Andi cause for a big man Andi got moves. Hutson Andi has been holding back ask he to bring some of them moves to the court. The amazing thing bout Andi was that at the end of the night Andi look just as fresh as when we get there. Was this stamina enough to get him the last man standing award? How about Demario “press muh clothes” Prescod? Proof positive that Demario has learnt from his mistakes Demario kept mainly to himself. This should hopefully prevent future situations where one has to beg on the cell phone from Checker hall to St. George. Does this growth and wisdom earn him the last man standing? And then there was Leacock. Imagine just minding your own business feeling a tap on your shoulder and turn round and see Leacock in a world of his own ‘daggering’ a young girl and Adrian doing the full on point in there direction. It was reminiscent of the legendary days of Dane and United States flag (if you don’t know about it ask one of the senior members Adrian tells it best). My only advice for Leacock is the next time make sure the girl aint so drunk that she and she friend don’t interfere with me and my boy. I’m a changed man bad things could happen. I will leave y’all to choose a winner but just a final message to the Social and Activities Committee. We got the ball rolling for you now let’s build some momentum and keep this going. It can only get bigger and better from here. First suggestion Midweek Madness I’m in a Carnival mood.

Braves Taking it to the Xtreme???
Posted by nutsee on January 11, 2009
The rumor mill is abuzz with whispers of a planned Saturday night outing to Club Xtreme by the Checker Hall basketball team. Word has it that the younger members of the team have set a tentative date of Saturday January 17th for this unofficial club outing to the Christ Church institution. An earlier outing by last year’s Under 21 squad had caused a minor riff between them and some of the senior member as well as Coach Hutson after they failed to receive invitations were not extended. In an effort to avoid a similar situation invitations were extended to Coach Hutson, Ron Taitt, Shane Worrell and Corey Graham at last Wednesday’s practice and more invitations are expected to be extended in the coming days to other members. While this outing was planned by the basketball team all members of the club are invited.
