In a photo now circulating on Facebook dated 1988 a young man identified to be Karim Willins by the poster stands second from right in the back row. The class is identified as 1 Gamma of Queen’s College. While this is not surprising (yes Karim is that old), what is surprising is the fact that a young gentleman standing next to Karim appears to be shorter than him. While it is unclear whether this young man identified as Malcolm Alleyne was slouching or kneeling it would be interesting to find out his current height in comparison to our little giant of a point guard. Investigations are continuing. Merry Christmas and happy New Year to all.

Good morning and a merry Christmas to all. This has been a very good year for Checker Hall Braves Sports and Social Club and for its Netball and Basket ball teams. Both performed well in their sports with the bball youth team performing above expectations. Their performance along with that of the division 3 team gives me great optimism as i look towards 2009. Let me take this time to wish all members and their families a very merry Christmas. Remember do every thing in moderation. Results is usually seem nine months down the road. In July.

Braves coaching staff welcomes Mario Arthur to the camp. He has great potential and must work hard to develop it. He has to get a never say die attitude. It is early days yet but coach expects a lot from him.
